Profile:
Born in the south boogie USA. I started Dj'ing shortly after watching grandmaster
flash in peoples park in the bronx. It was the most amazing thing I had ever seen
or heard. He played apache, just the intro though, over and over. I was hooked.
As I worked my way south into manhattan I began to hear Mixes by Larry Levan,
Frankie Knuckles, and Roy Thoade. They Did'nt quick mix like flash did, they
played both records at the same time and blended them together, man was I hooked,
the music was hard but soulful ...
By the mid 80's I began playing local nightclubs and and learning how to mix
edit and produce.
These day's I host secret Life of silence, on dancetraxx.com every saturday
between 8pm and 10 pm London time and am working on an ep, I sometimes play
my original mixes on my monthly SLS mixshow for Club Radio Network. (clubradio.net)
I'm also looking for a residancy that will allow me to play the type of house
music I love ... |
